US-Trained Militias Have Gone Genocidal, from Cytations

The US has armed and trained Shiite militias who only answer to their religious leaders (Iranian Ayatollah Sistani). They act under the color of authority, in the uniforms of the Iraqi ministry of the interior. They arrest (kidnap) and interrogate (torture and kill) "insurgents" (Sunni families). These militias have killed 7 000 civilians execution-style in recent months.
